Data-Ready DFW Website Redesign

I became a website redesign lead for a volunteer non-profit called Data Ready DFW. During my time at this current internship, I was able to work with people from various skill sets to redesign the following website to engage more viewers.

Before

As the website redesign lead, I set the standard for what the website redesign would contain. It first starts by establishing a style guide which is dictated by choosing the fonts, color themes, and feel for what the website would be. Not only that, but setting the font size, spacing, and consistency of the site.

Being in the position, I was in charge of making all the pages cohesive. I also helped format the style to be similar to the non-profit websites that the director has shown. From drawing from those inspirations, I was able to lay out what the feel of the website would be. Here is the before and after of the entire website revamp.

After

The journey to the final website took months on end with many changes and challenges that came along the way. However, it has taught me a lot and gave me an insight into what it takes to be the type of creative brand strategist I aspire to be.
